Question from Olive:
What time do you get up and what do you eat for breakfast?
Answer from all of us:
We usually get up around 7 AM. Most pilgrims get up before us. We hear them rustling around as early 5 AM. Some albergues offer breakfast and charge 3-5 €. The breakfast is usually coffee, tea and bread and jam. Sometimes the bread is toasted, sometimes not. Once in a while there might be yogurt or a piece of fruit. If the albergue does not have a breakfast option we eat some of our own food. We usually have some fruit and granola type bars and sometimes yogurt. Pretty much every day we walk an hour or so and when we come to a town we will have coffee and/or juice and something else to eat. We really look forward to our morning coffee break!
Are you all recovering from the aches and pains in the feet and legs? Back to 20+ km/day?
