A Hearty Lunch

We put on our wet shoes this morning and headed out. We are stopped for lunch and are really enjoying a warm, hearty meal in Hontanas. We walked through more icy wind and rain off and on all morning with our fingers frozen to our trekking poles.

In a few minutes we will head back out and do another 5.6 km to make a total of about 15-16 for the day. Mona is still having some issues with her feet but she has been a trooper. It looks like we may be staying at a place with no electricity tonight! I am hoping for a fireplace to warm my cold, wet feet.

    Really enjoying the blog. You ladies are troopers! Through rain and hail and sore feet, you soldier on! I think you're all amazing. Hi Emily, can't wait to hear all about the journey when you return!
